Here are five top Denver spas, located around the Mile High City:

Renaissance Aveda Spa & Salon

Renaissance Aveda Spa & Salon is situated on the ground floor of Hotel Monaco, a stylish boutique hotel in the center of downtown Denver. But its tranquil earth-tone treatment rooms are a world away from the busy city streets outside.

Aveda’s plant-based products are used in a range of purifying skin treatments and facials. Rejuvenating massage and body care treatments use water, stones, and essential oils to bring deep relaxation.

Not to be missed is Total Body Elixir, an amazing hydrotherapy treatment. Following an Ayurvedic massage with key element oils and exfoliation with aqua therapy sea salts, seven Vichy shower heads are directed at the major chakra points along the spine for an energizing warm water massage.

The Spa at the Brown Palace

The Spa at the Brown Palace is the latest addition to Denver’s grande dame establishment. It opened in 2006 in a space off the atrium lobby which once housed Turkish baths back in 1892.

The spa’s special soaks draw natural spring water from the artesian well which has always provided water for this historic hotel. Waterfalls also form part of the spa’s decor.

Men, as well as women, receive special attention here, with a private gentlemen’s area and several facial, body and grooming treatments designed just for them. Other custom treatments were created for the Colorado climate. But the star attraction is the Couple’s Suite, featuring a private soak, romantic lunch, and side-by-side massages.

La Fontaine Aesthetics

La Fontaine Aesthetics. There’s no shortage of spas in the shopping district of Cherry Creek North, but this fusion spa quickly becomes a hit with its blend of Eastern- and Western-style treatments. Along with traditional spa services it offers medical and dental cosmetics and wellness programs.

Devotees rave about the White Orchid Facial, which uses botanical serums and a seaweed hydration masque. Ancient Thai rituals are incorporated into the Zen Garden Stone Massage, while the Thai Herbal Ceremony combines yoga stretches and meditation with a revitalizing herbal massage.

Beau Visage Spa

Beau Visage Spa is convenient for the Denver Tech Center, a quarter of an hour south of downtown. It caters to both men and women with a variety of skincare and beauty treatments.

Traditional Swedish and sports massages and reflexology are among the massage therapies. The spa’s Signature Hot Oil Manicure is a favorite with south Denver regulars.

A New Spirit Wellness Center & Spa

A New Spirit Wellness Center & Spa boasts the only flotation center in Colorado. Stress, anxiety and muscle tension dissolve away in this shallow tank of buoyant water, leaving users relaxed and refreshed.
